DIAL IN YOUR DRAFT

Find your balance.

Choose your beer targets. We’ll work out the pressure and line length.

Your setup

Use the brewer’s targets when available.

For a typical home kegerator, use 3/16″ ID beverage-grade vinyl. Larger bores need a system designed for them and different lengths. These presets are for beer line, not CO₂ supply hose. Match hose dimensions, fittings and clamps.

Advanced settings

Rise is the vertical distance from the keg to the faucet. Line resistance is an approximation; actual tubing and flow vary.

A starting point, then a test pour.

This calculator models equilibrium carbonation with CO₂ and approximate line resistance. It is intended for a home kegerator, not nitrogen blends or long-draw systems. Start with extra tubing and trim gradually after checking temperature and flow.
